Well done Cornwall Council for adopting a bilingual road sign policy.
As a Celt I am well used to dual language signage in Wales and also in Southern Ireland. Even in the days of pre Sat-Nav there was no problem in finding your destination in either country, you just read a map.
Holidaymakers on the Costa Blanca in Spain make no complaints about bilingual signage there even when both languages are foreign, Spanish and Valencian, they still get around, reading a map.
There may not be many fluent Cornish speaking people around now but that does not say that Cornwall should not use its ancient language.
Well done Kernow, what say you?
