Ford UK have just announced that during 2009 they sold more cars in the UK than any other manufacturer, making it the 33rd. year in succession.
Not only do Ford rule the roost in car sales they also have the best selling van, the Transit, which has been out selling everything for the last 45 years
It’s not all rosy for Ford though who now import all their cars into the UK, while the £sterling remains low against the Euro Ford are losing money, which is the main reason they have put their UK prices up by so much recently.
With the Detroit Motor Show in the next 14 days Ford will be unveiling their new Focus hatchback ahead of changes due to the whole Focus range, sales of which start in the autumn.
