Just who is behind the witch hunt against Lewis Hamilton and McLaren?

We now hear that the World Motor Sport Council may be called in again to investigate the “Melbourne” incident. This is the ruling body who investigated McLaren 19 months ago about whether they had gained technical information illegally from Ferrari.

Lets get back to the Melbourne incident itself, the safety car is out and there is a string of cars behind it. Trulli who is in front of Hamilton spins off the track, although the cars were not speeding/racing, how was Hamilton to know in that situation that Trulli had not gone off permanently, in a split second decision he had to decide whether to drive on. As it happened Trulli regained the track, but should he have been allowed to regain his 3rd.position, having himself made the error causing his car to leave the track, by overtaking behind the safety car?

Going back over previous seasons, Schumacker the master shunter of all time who was not averse to helping his competitors off the track, was never penalised in such a way as Hamilton is now and his driving then could easily have been classified as dangerous to say the least.

Who is behind this vendetta against Hamilton/McLaren, are the Scuderia Ferrari of Maranello squeaky clean on this matter?
