It is going to be hard to find cheap car hire this year unless you know where to search.
Further bad news just through from Travel Consultants Advito forecast car hire price rises this year, their forecast is partly based on the huge number of Toyota cars being recalled for modification as Toyota cars form a large part of car hire fleets.

At The Car Hub we gave out our first warning via a “tweet” on June 2nd. that there were existing factors which indicated that in all areas of Europe there would be a shortage of cars for hire this summer and possibly beyond.

There are now dire warnings that the situation could be so bad as to leave holidaymakers arriving at their airports without cars to continue to their destinations.
