Honda Forecast 10-20 Years For A Major Presence Of Electric Cars.
In recent days Honda’s CEO has stated that his company will need to depend on China for its future development of battery powered electric cars.
What then is the real talk within their boardroom if Honda are willing to state so openly that they have serious doubts about the future of electric cars.

Amid the devastating global slump in demand for cars, fuel-sipping hybrid cars have become a bright spot for the industry with Honda and Toyota seeing robust demand for their latest models.
 

2010 is not starting out to be a good year for Japanese car makers.
Today Honda announced they are recalling 172,000 Jazz models in the U.K.  over concern to the master power window switch, this follows an incident in S. Africa when a child was killed in a car fire.

It is now becoming much more the case that the choice of car you purchase does not just rest with the car’s size, the basic instruments, the cup holders or seat covers etc, but what engine you have in your car.
We’re not talking here about a choice simply between petrol and diesel engines but what type of petrol or diesel engine, confusing?

According to leaked documents released on the internet the spec. for the new Honda CR-Z sports hybrid, which will go on sale next April at a cost of £18,000 will be:-
Engine: 1.5 litre i-VTEC four cylinder with a 113bhp output @ 6,000rpm and 107lb/ft @ 4,800.
Acceleration: 0-62 = 9.7secs.
Dimensions: L = 4080mm. H = 1395mm. W = 1740mm.

HONDAS were named Britain’s most reliable cars yesterday after a massive survey of motorists.

The Japanese giant got four of eight top spots in individual categories after 10,000 drivers were polled by Which? magazine.

Its Jazz model topped the supermini sector, the Civic was No 1 in the medium car category, while it also had the safest people carrier and 4x4 with its FR-V and CR-V.

Ford was the only non-Asian brand in the top ten, while Land Rovers were LEAST reliable.

The poll also revealed faulty engine electrics caused most breakdowns.
